Babin, Brian

Brian Babin is a Republican member of the U.S. House of Representatives, serving Texas's 36th congressional district since 2015. His district covers southeastern Houston, its eastern suburbs, and several rural counties. Before entering Congress, Babin served in the United States Air Force and maintained a long-term dental practice in Woodville, Texas. He has a deep background in local and state governance, having served as a mayor, city council member, and school board trustee, as well as holding positions on the Texas Historical Commission and the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners.
