Background
Eric Burlison was born on October 2, 1976. Before entering public office, he worked as a software engineer and was later promoted to business analyst at CoxHealth. He also held a professional role at Cerner, where he worked until his election to the U.S. House of Representatives.
Political career
Eric Burlison began his political career in the Missouri House of Representatives, where he served from 2008 to 2016, followed by a term in the Missouri Senate starting in 2018. A Republican, he was first sworn into the U.S. House of Representatives in 2023 to represent Missouri's 7th congressional district. He was subsequently reelected to a second term in the House in 2024.
