Jason Crow is a Democratic Representative from Colorado's 6th District and a former Army Ranger who was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for his service in Iraq.
Background
Jason Crow was born in Madison, Wisconsin, and earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison before receiving a law degree from the University of Denver. He served as a U.S. Army Ranger, completing three tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan and earning a Bronze Star for his actions during the Battle of Samawah. Following his military service, he worked as a partner at the law firm Holland and Hart and served on the Colorado Board of Veterans Affairs.
Political career
Before entering Congress, Jason Crow served as an Army Ranger and was later appointed to the Colorado Board of Veterans Affairs, where he served from 2009 to 2014. He was first sworn in as the U.S. representative for Colorado's 6th congressional district in 2019. Crow is the first member of the Democratic Party to represent this district.

Crow, Jason currently serves on the Central Intelligence Agency, the Cyber, Information Technologies, and Innovation, and the House Committee on Armed Services.
