Mike Collins is a Republican Representative from Georgia's 10th District who founded a trucking company and is the son of former U.S. Representative Mac Collins.
Background
Born and raised in Jackson, Georgia, Mike Collins graduated from Piedmont Academy before earning a bachelor's degree in business administration from Georgia State University in 1990. He is the son of former U.S. Representative Mac Collins and spent much of his career as a businessman, founding a trucking company with his wife in the early 1990s. Additionally, he served as the president of his local chamber of commerce and as the chairman of one of the largest credit unions in Georgia.
Political career
Before entering public office, Mike Collins served as the president of his local chamber of commerce and chaired the board of a large Georgia credit union. He was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in November 2022 after winning a runoff for the Republican nomination and the subsequent general election. He has served as the representative for Georgia's 10th congressional district since 2023.

Collins, Mike represents the 10th congressional district of GA in the U.S. House. Collins, Mike currently serves on the Energy and Mineral Resources, the Highways and Transit, and the House Committee on Natural Resources. They have sponsored 25 bills in the current House, including H.R. 8679; H.J.Res. 158; H.R. 8079.
