Background
Brian Kevin Fitzpatrick was born on December 17, 1973. Before entering politics, he worked as an attorney, a special assistant United States attorney, and a supervisory special agent for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). During his career with the FBI, he oversaw programs related to public corruption and election crimes, and he served abroad in Iraq and Ukraine.
Political career
Before entering politics, Brian Fitzpatrick served as a supervisory special agent for the FBI and as a special assistant United States attorney. He was first elected to the House of Representatives in 2016 and has served as a U.S. representative from Pennsylvania since 2017. Originally representing the 8th district, he has represented the 1st district since 2019 following a court-mandated redistricting and won reelection to a fifth term in 2024.
