Background
Anna Paulina Luna was born on May 6, 1989, and served as an airfield management specialist in the U.S. Air Force and Air National Guard from 2009 to 2014. She earned a Bachelor of Science in biology from the University of West Florida in 2017 while also working as a model and Instagram influencer. Before entering public office, she served as the director of Hispanic engagement for Turning Point USA and as vice president of the conservative outreach organization Bienvenido.
Political career
Before her election to Congress, Anna Paulina Luna served in the U.S. Air Force and the Oregon Air National Guard, later working as the director of Hispanic engagement for Turning Point USA. After an unsuccessful 2020 campaign, she was elected to represent Florida's 13th congressional district in 2022 and has served in the House of Representatives since 2023. She is the first Mexican-American woman elected to Congress from Florida and was reelected to her seat in 2024.
