Luna, Anna Paulina

Anna Paulina Luna represents Florida's 13th congressional district in the House, having been elected in 2022 and reelected in 2024. She is the first Mexican-American woman elected to Congress from Florida. Before entering electoral politics, Luna served in the U.S. Air Force from 2009 to 2014 as an airfield management specialist, earning the Air Force Achievement Medal for her service. She earned a Bachelor of Science in biology from the University of West Florida in 2017 and worked in conservative political outreach, including as director of Hispanic engagement for Turning Point USA.

In Congress, Luna serves on the House Committee on Foreign Affairs and the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, with additional subcommittee assignments covering areas including Europe, cybersecurity, and government efficiency. She maintains a conservative voting record, with a 98% alignment score according to Heritage Action. Her legislative priorities have included education policy, social media regulation for minors, and government accountability measures. Luna has sponsored numerous bills addressing topics ranging from student counseling practices to nutrition assistance programs and government efficiency initiatives.
