About
Max Miller is a Republican representative from Ohio's 7th Congressional District, which includes Medina and Wayne counties as well as parts of Cuyahoga and Holmes counties. He has served in the House since January 2023. Before his election to Congress, Miller worked in the Trump administration in several senior positions, including as director of presidential advance and special assistant to the president. He also served in the Marine Corps Reserves.
Miller serves on the House Committee on Science, Space, and Technology, where he chairs the Environment Subcommittee, as well as the House Committee on Ways and Means. He was elected by incoming Republican members to represent them on the steering committee, which determines committee assignments. He is a member of the Republican Study Committee, Main Street Caucus, and the Congressional Jewish Caucus.
Miller has focused his legislative efforts on workforce development and economic opportunity. He introduced the Foster Youth Workforce Opportunity Act to expand education and training vouchers for foster youth, and has emphasized improving access to career-oriented technical training. He has also worked to secure federal funding for infrastructure projects in his district, including over $18 million in community project funding through fiscal year 2026 appropriations bills. His legislative priorities reflect concerns about labor shortages and the need to support education and workforce development in Northeast Ohio.
