Medi-Access Act of 2001
Summary
Requires coverage of the following for Medicaid-eligible individuals: (1) early and periodic screening and diagnostic and treatment services for individuals of all ages; (2) rehabilitative services and assistive technologies for disabled or developmentally delayed children; (3) prescription drugs; (4) drug and alcohol treatment services; (5) inpatient and outpatient mental health and psychiatric services; (6) some chiropractic services; (7) assistive technology devices and services, durable medical equipment, sexually-transmitted disease diagnosis and treatment, and prenatal and post-natal care; and (8) reproductive health services.
