Summary
Medicare Market Acquisition Drug Price Act of 2003 - Amends title XVIII (Medicare) of the Social Security Act (SSA) to revise payment for drugs and biologicals under Medicare.
Directs the Secretary of Health and Human Services, in computing the practice expense component of the Medicare physician fee schedule with respect to payment for services of oncologists, to make adjustments to an oncologist's reported medical supply expenses in order to ensure that they better reflect the actual supply costs of providing such services.
Requires the Secretary to provide for a study of the appropriateness of the Medicare payment methodology for blood clotting factors and other biologicals.
