Summary
Sound Science Methyl Bromide Act - Prohibits the use of Federal funds to implement any regulation requiring a reduction in the production or consumption of methyl bromide unless the Secretary of Agriculture and the Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency have reported to Congress on the effects of methyl bromide on the ozone layer. Provides for review of the report by the National Academy of Sciences.
Requires the U.S. Trade Representative to study the use of methyl bromide by other nations and identify those that will prohibit the importation of a U.S. product if it is not used for that product.
