Summary
Federal Campaign Financing Reform Act of 2001 - Amends the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971 concerning: (1) additional monthly and quarterly disclosure reports; (2) Internet availability of all reports; (3) disclosure of funds transfers by national political parties; (4) disclosure of electioneering communications; (5) restrictions on soft money of national political parties; (6) a specified limit on amount of funds provided by corporations and labor organizations to certain organizations; (7) indexing of contribution limits; (8) a specified limitation on amount of personal funds of candidate which may be reimbursed by campaign committees; and (9) indexing of penalty amounts.
Amends the Federal criminal code concerning the prohibition against fundraising of any campaign funds on Federal property.
Provides for expedited judicial review for a defendant in an action against the United States for declaratory or injunctive relief to challenge the constitutionality of any provisions of this Act by which such person is aggrieved.
