To amend the Reclamation Wastewater and Groundwater Study and Facilities Act to authorize the Secretary of the Interior to participate in certain water projects in California.

This bill authorizes the federal government to help fund and plan water treatment and recycling projects in Southern California, specifically within the Santa Ana Watershed and the City of Corona. These projects are designed to clean contaminated groundwater and recycle wastewater to create a more reliable local water supply for residents and reduce dependence on imported water. While the federal government would cover up to 25% of the initial design and construction costs, local water districts would remain responsible for the ongoing operation and maintenance of the facilities.
