Under this bill, an individual would be required to provide a business with a specific written notice of an alleged accessibility violation and then wait 90 days before filing a formal legal complaint. This "notice and cure" period is intended to give property owners the opportunity to correct the reported barrier before facing litigation, though the requirement would not apply to cases seeking immediate emergency relief.
