To amend title 38, United States Code, to provide the same type of vocational rehabilitation benefits and services under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs for certain children with spina bifida as are currently available to veterans with service-connected disabilities.

H.R. 2929 would expand the vocational rehabilitation benefits provided by the Department of Veterans Affairs to include the children of Vietnam veterans who were born with spina bifida. Under this legislation, these individuals would gain access to the same job training, employment counseling, and placement services currently available to veterans with service-connected disabilities. The bill aims to provide these children with the professional support and tools necessary to achieve independence and enter the workforce.
