Summary
Atlantic Blackfish Conservation Act - Prohibits the commercial harvesting of Atlantic blackfish, popularly known as tautog, in the coastal waters or the exclusive economic zone (EEZ) or the sale of blackfish taken in violation of that prohibition. Imposes penalties and allows civil forfeiture of vessels for violations.
Requires the Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission to take actions reflecting the prohibition.
