To amend title 38, United States Code, to provide additional educational assistance under the Montgomery GI Bill to veterans pursuing a degree in science, technology, engineering, or math.

This bill would provide an additional $2,000 annual payment to veterans who are using the Montgomery GI Bill to pursue a degree in science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM). This lump-sum payment would be granted on top of existing veteran educational benefits to help cover the costs of these specific technical programs. For students enrolled for less than a full academic year, the payment would be adjusted proportionally to reflect their period of enrollment.
