Summary
Protect Our Women From Ovarian Cancer Act of 2002 - Amends title XVIII (Medicare) of the Social Security Act to expand the Medicare preventive benefit to include qualified screening tests for ovarian cancer.
Directs the Secretary of Health and Human Services to conduct or support research, and report to Congress, on the effectiveness of the medical screening technique of using proteomic patterns in blood serum to identify ovarian cancer.
