Summary
Markings Harmonization Act of 2002 - Amends the Tariff Act of 1930 with respect to the mandatory country-of-origin marking of certain pipe and fittings. Defines the ultimate purchaser in the United States to whom the marking must indicate the English name of the country of origin of flanges or butt welding fittings made of carbon, alloy, or stainless steel.
Authorizes the Secretary of the Treasury to issue regulations that apply such definition with respect to flanges and butt welding fittings from Canada or Mexico that would be subject to it but for other marking requirements under the North American Free Trade Agreement Implementation Act or regulations issued under it.
