To amend title 38, United States Code, to extend the eligibility for housing loans guaranteed by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs under the Native American Housing Loan Pilot Program to veterans who are married to Native Americans.

H.R. 4504 would expand access to the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Native American Direct Loan program. Under this bill, veterans who are not Native American themselves, but are married to a Native American, would become eligible for these low-interest housing loans to purchase, build, or improve homes on Federal trust land. The legislation aims to help more veteran families utilize federal housing benefits that were previously restricted only to veterans with specific tribal affiliations.
