Summary
Military Families Bereavement Leave Act - Amends the Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993 (FMLA) to authorize leave for immediate family members of a member of the uniformed services who dies in the line of duty, in order to facilitate their attendance at the burial ceremony.
Makes eligible for such leave those immediate family members who are FMLA-eligible employees. Treats Federal officers and Federal employees as FMLA-eligible employees for purposes of such leave.
