Summary
U.S. Employee, Family Unity, and Legalization Act - Amends the Immigration and Nationality Act to extend the admission date for permanent residence for certain aliens, including additional one-year extensions during specified time periods. Establishes fines for application-related violations of confidentiality and false statements.
Revises specified restrictions respecting: (1) cancellation of removal; (2) deportability and admissibility; and (3) issuance of immigrant visas to certain spouses and children of lawfully admitted permanent resident aliens.
Establishes a national task force on immigrant exploitation and trafficking, to be chaired by the Secretary of Labor and made up of Federal and State law enforcement officers.
