Oglala Sioux Tribe Angostura Irrigation Project Modernization and Development Act

This bill directs the Department of the Interior to modernize the irrigation facilities at the Angostura Unit in South Dakota to improve water efficiency. The water saved through these upgrades would be redirected to support fish, wildlife, and environmental restoration efforts on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. Additionally, the bill establishes a tribal trust fund to support economic development and social programs for the Oglala Sioux Tribe, though it prohibits these funds from being distributed as direct payments to individual tribal members.
