Summary
Second Opinion Coverage Act of 2002 - Amends the Public Health Service Act, the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA), and the Internal Revenue Code to require group and individual health insurance coverage and group health plans to provide coverage for second opinions.
Directs the Secretaries of Health and Human Services, of Labor, and of the Treasury to coordinate administration of this Act.
