Summary
Comprehensive Wildlife Disease Testing Acceleration Act of 2002 - Directs the Secretary of Agriculture, with respect to chronic wasting disease (a disease affecting deer and elk), to: (1) issue guidelines for animal tissue collecting and laboratory testing; (2) establish a laboratory certification and inspection program; and (3) accelerate testing research.
Establishes the Interagency Task Force on Epizootic Hemorrhagic Disease to coordinate epizootic hemorrhagic disease (a disease affecting deer and other wild ruminants) prevention activities.
