Advocates for Families Act of 2025

H.R. 5647 would amend federal child welfare law to require states to facilitate access to advocates and advocacy resources for parents involved in any child welfare case or interaction with child welfare agencies. States would need to comply with this requirement as a condition of receiving federal support for their child welfare services programs.
