To amend the Social Security Act to further extend health care coverage under the Medicare Program.

This bill would expand Medicare eligibility to include qualified World War II veterans from the Philippines who are either United States citizens or lawful permanent residents. Under this legislation, these veterans would be entitled to Medicare Part A, which covers hospital stays, and would become eligible to enroll in Medicare Part B for outpatient medical services. If enacted, these individuals would be subject to the same standard deductible, premium, and coinsurance requirements as other Medicare beneficiaries.
