Trucking Security and CCP Disclosure Act of 2026

The Trucking Security and CCP Disclosure Act of 2026 would establish security requirements for trucking companies that transport military cargo for the Department of Defense. Specifically, the bill would require these carriers to certify that they are not owned or controlled by, and do not have significant business relationships with, any Chinese military companies or entities affiliated with the Chinese Communist Party. The bill would also require subcontractors and owner-operators working under these contracts to provide the same certifications.

If enacted, this legislation would aim to protect sensitive military supply chains from potential security risks associated with Chinese government-linked entities. The bill addresses concerns about the transportation of military equipment and supplies by requiring transparency and disclosure of any connections to Chinese military or Communist Party-affiliated organizations. Currently, the bill has been referred to both the House Armed Services Committee and the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee for consideration.
