Summary
Calls upon the President: (1) to immediately review the entry into the customs territory of the United States of all steel products of Australia, China, South Africa, Ukraine, Indonesia, India, Japan, Russia, South Korea, or Brazil; (2) if he finds that the Governments of such countries are not abiding by the spirit and letter of international trade agreements regarding steel imports into the United States, to immediately impose a one-year ban on the imports of all steel products from such countries; (3) to establish a task force within the executive branch to closely monitor steel imports into the United States; and (4) to report to Congress on any other actions to ensure that all U.S. trading partners abide by such agreements.
