Recognizes the importance of: (1) increasing U.S. investment in international tuberculosis control within the foreign aid budget for FY 2002; and (2) supporting and expanding domestic efforts to eliminate tuberculosis in the United States. Calls upon local, national and global leaders, including the President, to commit to putting an end to the worldwide tuberculosis epidemic.
