Summary
Working Lands Conservation Act - Amends the Food Security Act of 1985 to: (1) extend and revise the environmental quality incentives program, including, designation of special projects to address area-specific environmental issues, modification of contract authority, and creation of conservation innovation grants; (2) extend and revise the conservation reserve program, including provisions respecting conservation buffer inclusion, hardwood trees, and haying and grazing; (3) extend and revise the wetlands reserve program, including acreage increases and wetland restoration activities on watershed areas; and (4) provide for privacy of personal information relating to natural resources conservation programs.
Directs the Secretary of Agriculture to develop a conservation program consolidation and reform plan.
Amends specified agricultural Acts to extend authority or authorization of appropriations for: (1) the environmental conservation acreage reserve program; (2) the conservation farm option program; (3) the flood risk reduction program; (4) the resource conservation and development program; (5) the forestry incentives program; and (6) the Office of International Forestry.
