Summary
Federal-Local Information Sharing Partnership Act of 2002 - Amends the Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure, the Federal criminal code, and the Uniting and Strengthening America by Providing Appropriate Tools Required to Intercept and Obstruct Terrorism Act (USA PATRIOT ACT) of 2001 to authorize the sharing of grand jury information, electronic, wire, and oral interception information, and foreign intelligence information, respectively, with State or local law enforcement personnel for purposes of investigating or preventing international or domestic terrorism, or a Federal crime of terrorism. Directs that such information be used consistent with such guidelines as the Attorney General shall promulgate to protect confidentiality.
(Sec. 5) Amends the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act of 1978 to authorize the sharing of information acquired from an electronic surveillance or a physical search with State and local law enforcement personnel.
