Clean Water For Military Families Act

The Clean Water for Military Families Act would require the Department of Defense to investigate and clean up "forever chemicals," known as PFAS, at military bases and National Guard facilities across the United States. Under this bill, the military must conduct formal investigations into chemical releases and take action to remove contamination if levels exceed health standards. For service members and families living on or near these installations, the bill aims to reduce exposure to these substances in local soil and drinking water supplies.
