Summary
Dirty Bomb Prevention Act of 2002 - Amends the Atomic Energy Act of 1954 to establish a task force on sealed source security to: (1) evaluate threats against the security of sealed sources of radioactive material; and (2) identify actions that would provide optimum security against such threats.
Defines "sealed sources" as a byproduct material or special nuclear material (excluding fuel or spent fuel) licensed by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission that is sealed in a container designed to prevent leakage of the byproduct material or special nuclear material from the container.
Sets forth actions for consideration by the task force.
