Summary
Afghanistan Free Trade Agreement Act - Requires the President to initiate trade agreement negotiations with Afghanistan for the reciprocal reduction and ultimate elimination of tariffs and nontariff trade barriers.
Provides for expedited procedures implementing bills for trade agreements entered into under this Act, without regard to certain requirements of the Bipartisan Trade Promotion Authority Act of 2002. Sets forth congressional notification and consultation requirements for the President.
