TRACK Act

S. 3363, the TRACK Act (Transparency in Recovery Assistance and Claims Knowledge Act), would require the Federal Emergency Management Agency to publish information related to public assistance awards. The bill is currently under consideration by the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs. If enacted, this legislation would increase transparency regarding federal disaster assistance by making FEMA public assistance award data publicly available, allowing citizens and communities affected by disasters to better understand how federal recovery funds are being distributed and awarded.
