Immediate Access for the Terminally Ill Act

If enacted, this bill would allow terminally ill workers to access disability benefits they have earned through years of work contributions during their remaining lifetime, rather than potentially passing away before the standard five-month waiting period ends. The bill is currently under committee consideration in the Senate.
