INVEST in Our Communities Act

The INVEST in Our Communities Act (S. 4077) aims to modernize the Economic Development Administration (EDA) to better support local economies, particularly those reliant on tourism and outdoor recreation. The bill would establish a dedicated grant program to help the travel, hospitality, and special event industries recover from economic disruptions and grow their local infrastructure. Additionally, it creates a new Office of Rural and Native American Economic Development to ensure that small towns and tribal communities receive specialized technical assistance and resources to create jobs and diversify their regional economies.
