VOICE Act of 2022

The Veterans Online Information and Cybersecurity Empowerment Act of 2022 (VOICE Act) would require the Department of Veterans Affairs to create a grant program aimed at improving digital literacy and cybersecurity awareness among veterans. Under this bill, the VA would provide funding to veterans service organizations and community groups to develop training that helps veterans navigate the internet safely, identify online misinformation, and protect their personal data. The goal of the legislation is to empower veterans with the skills needed to recognize digital threats and participate securely in the modern digital economy.
