Enhanced Border Security Act of 2001

This bill proposes the creation of the Valley Forge National Cemetery by designating a specific portion of land within the Valley Forge National Historical Park for this purpose. If passed, the Secretary of the Interior would transfer jurisdiction of these lands to the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to establish and maintain a permanent burial ground for veterans. For citizens, this would provide a local, dedicated site to honor and inter military service members within the historic grounds of the national park.
