GRAD Act

The Graduation Really Achieves Dreams (GRAD) Act would authorize the Secretary of Education to provide federal grants to Project GRAD USA, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving graduation and college enrollment rates for at-risk students. These funds would be used to support programs in public school "feeder patterns," ensuring students receive consistent support as they move from elementary school through high school graduation.

For students and families, this bill would increase access to research-based reading and math instruction, campus-based social services, and enhanced community involvement in schools. Additionally, the legislation aims to make higher education more attainable by providing college scholarships and assisting families with the college application and financial aid processes.
