A bill to establish a center for excellence for applied research and training in the use of advanced materials in transport aircraft.

Directs the Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to establish a Center for Excellence that focuses on applied research and training regarding the durability and maintainability of advanced materials used in transport airframe structures, including the use of polymeric composites in large transport aircraft.
