Orchard Detention Basin Flood Control Act

The Orchard Detention Basin Flood Control Act proposes to remove approximately 65 acres of land in Clark County, Nevada, from federal wilderness protection to allow for the construction of a flood control project. By releasing this land from the Sunrise Mountain Instant Study Area, the bill would authorize the Department of the Interior to grant the county a right-of-way to build and maintain the Orchard Detention Basin.
