A concurrent resolution providing for the use of the catafalque situated in the Exhibition Hall of the Capitol Visitor Center in connection with memorial services to be conducted in the rotunda of the Capitol for the Honorable Robert Joseph Dole, a Senator from the State of Kansas.

This resolution authorized the use of the historic catafalque—the ceremonial wooden platform used to support a casket—for the memorial services of the late Senator Robert J. Dole. It directed the Architect of the Capitol to move the platform from its location in the Capitol Visitor Center to the Capitol Rotunda for the lying-in-state ceremony.
