A joint resolution commending Sail Boston for its continuing advancement of the maritime heritage of nations, its commemoration of the nautical history of the United States, and its promotion, encouragement, and support of young cadets through training.

Commends Sail Boston for its excellence in the promotion of tall ship and maritime events in Boston and in ports throughout the United States and for its work with the American Sail Training Association for the promotion and encouragement of young cadets through training programs, seamanship, and education at sea.

Urges citizens of all nations to join in the international friendship and support that Sail Boston and the Association will provide during Sail Boston 2004.

Encourages Sail Boston to continue to represent and promote U.S. ports in the international tall ship community and to organize and participate in tall ship events worldwide.
