A resolution expressing the sense of the Senate regarding the national nutrition program for the elderly, on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of its establishment.

Expresses the sense of the Senate, on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of its establishment, that the Elderly Nutrition Program is of great importance to the health and well-being of participants, is well-run, and continues to achieve its objectives on behalf of the senior citizens it serves.

Declares that the Senate: (1) expresses appreciation for the daily work of all the individuals, including volunteers, who administer the program at the local level; and (2) recognizes the importance of the present and future health and well-being of the millions of senior citizens across the Nation, including the maintenance of their independence and dignity.
