This resolution honors the life, achievements, and legacy of former Secretary of State George Pratt Shultz and extends the Senate's condolences and sympathy to his family.
The resolution also acknowledges Shultz's published concern for rebuilding and strengthening American diplomacy and the Department of State by creating a school of diplomacy at the National Foreign Affairs Training Center.
