Baldwin, Tammy

Tammy Baldwin serves as the junior United States Senator from Wisconsin, a position she has held since 2013. A member of the Democratic Party, she previously served seven terms in the U.S. House of Representatives and three terms in the Wisconsin State Assembly. Raised in Madison by her grandparents, she graduated from Smith College and the University of Wisconsin Law School before practicing law and entering local government. She holds the distinction of being the first woman from Wisconsin elected to both chambers of Congress.
