Hawley, Josh

Josh Hawley is a Republican representing Missouri in the federal government. Born in Arkansas, he earned degrees from Stanford University and Yale Law School before serving as a law clerk for Chief Justice John Roberts at the U.S. Supreme Court. Before entering public office, he worked in private legal practice, served as an associate professor at the University of Missouri School of Law, and litigated religious liberty cases for the Becket Fund. He served as the 42nd Attorney General of Missouri from 2017 to 2019, where he led investigations into the opioid epidemic and tech companies.
