Shaheen, Jeanne

Jeanne Shaheen is the senior United States Senator from New Hampshire, a position she has held since 2009. A member of the Democratic Party, she made history as the first woman in American history to be elected as both a governor and a U.S. Senator. Before entering federal office, she served three terms as the Governor of New Hampshire from 1997 to 2003 and was a member of the New Hampshire State Senate.
